  1. Once upon a time there was a man he was very fond of going playing cards at night time. On his way home he had to pass through a lonely place, and it used to be between two and three o'clock when he used to return home every night.
    One night when he was coming home from playing cards he met a man riding on a horse with a whip in his hand. He spoke to him but he got no answer.
    The next night he went cardplaying again and he left the house at the same time, and he came to the same place. There he met the same horse
