  1. There was one hedge school in Tibarney. School was held in an out house. John Connolly was the teachers name. He was not a stranger. They did not lodge in the house, they were not far from the school. The pupils paid them for the instructions they gave. I do not know the subjects that were taught.
    There was also a hedge school in Jamestown, and Errick. I do not know the names of the teachers that taught in these hedge schools.
