  1. There is only one Holy Well in our Parish. It is in the townland of Curnapallis in a field called Cluain Patrick The people visit it on the three first Sundays of July
    The people go round the stations fifteen times. It is said that Saint Patrick passed through Cluan Patrick and spent a night there.
    He came on a Horse and the track of a horses hoof is to be seen.

  2. There is a certain field in Ardmullen in which there is a pot of gold hidden. It is said that a thief stole from rich people. As he was making his way through the fields to his fen he saw his pursuer's coming towards him
