  1. My Home District.
The district in which I live in is Four-Roads. My townland is Correal. I am situated in the parish of Tisrara, and in the Barony of Athlone. There are four families in our townland and about thirty-two people.
Our village got its name from a limestone quarry that was in Correal. The most common name is Healy.
There were the same number of houses in Correal long ago. There are no old ruins or any old houses around our place. Our townland is not mentioned in any song or saying that i know of.
The land in our village is good and fertile. There are no woods or scarcely any trees in our place.
