  1. 1) There is a Holy Well situated in the boggy district between Mullinahone and Poulacapple. It lies near the Bog Road. It is known as St Michael's Well or Tobairín Donn or Tobar Rí an Domhnaigh. The water is supposed to cure sore hands. The well is walled in and there are bushes growing around it.

    1) When a priest on horseback was passing through boggy land his horse's leg went down and a well sprang up at the spot.
The well - Tobar Rí an Domhnaigh is in the shape of a horse's hoof. The well is supposed to have been blessed by St. Michael. The well never goes dry except when abused.

    2) St Nicholas' Well in Killamery is situated near the church-graveyard. The water is supposed to be drunk by those intended for the priesthood when nearing ordination
