Four sallies tied together make frame.
Groove in ends of two sticks to allow others to pass through.
Tie cord diagonal-ways from corner to corner allowing some inches to spare. Cut next four sallies about 1" shorter than first and place them inside cord in same position as first four. Continue in this way until top is closed.
Crib is supported by a gabhlóg which rests against it, a semi-circular stick attached to the sides of crib about 1" from the ground, and a light stick called a Caitín [?] which is inserted in the V of the Gabhlóg and rests on the semicircular stick.
