   It is in ruins now but it was in use very long ago. There is a place under the ground and the people used to use that place for keeping stuff in. It is in the townland of Ach A wheel. It was for no other use.
   There was a round tower down at Effish more. It was there long ago. There was two men built this round tower. One of them was named Paddy Ó Brein and the other man was Pat Joe Connor. It was built of breaks and stones. There was no body lived in this round tower.

2. Clothes Made Locally

   There is two spinning wheels in our district now. These spinning wheels are used yeat. People make wool on these spinning wheels. They knit socks and other things that they can wear. Many other people buy wool and knit socks, But the thing that they spin themselves lasts longer than the thing that they buy.
   It was very common in our district long ago That all the women in the district would come to some one house every Wenesday before it would get dark and they would take their spinning wheels with them and they would all start to spin. When they would go home that night. They would start to knit socks from the wool that they had spinned in the evening.
   Spinners are not so common in our district now as they were many years ago. There was only one weaver in our
