and he is a very dangerous little animal because if he spits on a person they would die.The rabbit is a very wild animal .He eats oats,potatoes,cabbage,and other
vegetables.The rats and mice eat bread,oats,and potatoes.The
badgers live in the wood and they are like a dog in appearance.They live on their own fat for three months,and then they live on vegetables.
- We have a great many wild animals in this district namely,
rabbits,hares,squirrels,badgers,
rats,mice foxes,ferrets,and weasels.The rabbits live on grass and vegetables,oats, wheat,potatoes,cabbage and lettuce.The hares live on grass and vegetables.The squirrels live on nuts.The badger like a dog in appearance live in the wood. They live on their own fat for three months and then they live on insects and vegetables .The rats and mice live on small bits of potatoes,oats, and bread.The fox is the most cunning of all,he kills hens,
ducks and geese and the people kill a good many of them.The ferrets live of the blood of rabbits.The weasel also live of the blood of rabbits . - Collector
