We say hcow, hcow, (prounounced how) to hurry cows in from the fields to be milked.
Names of Cowhouses.
Lower Arch, Middle Arch, Top Arch.
Singing will quieten a nervous cow.
If cows are milked slowly they become tough.
Sheep call resemble Baa.
A cow's call resembles Mu.
A goat's call resembles Meg-ge-ge-geg.
A Pig's call resembles Guc. Guc.
When a calf is born, salt is sprinkled on it to make the cow lick it dry.
