  2. "I lost my glove."
A circle consisting of any number of players is formed. One of the players goes across the circle saying at the same time:
    "I lost my glove yesterday
    I found it today
    I pray, I pray
That someone may hunt me to-day".
She selects her partner by saying the name of the person who is to hunt her. Then the chase begins. The pursued runs in and out through the circle and the pursuer must run through the same places. If she happens to run into the wrong place she is said to be "burned", and another partner is chosen.
