   Names:- Charles Kickham - our best-known poet. Thomas B. Kickham, locally known as "The Dovey" who lived in Fethard St. He was a brother of Charles K. John Dunne - hedge-schoolmaster who lived in Poulacapple and died at the age of 77. Sister Josephine, Convent of Mercy, Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath sister of Rev. P. Crotty, O.S.A. Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Sister Josephine died in 1905 aged 31 years. Dan Herlihy who still lives, farm-labourer, Ballyvadlea, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary. William Hawe, a tailor,

   The following lines were composed by Thomas B. Kickham. The lady referred to is Katie Freney whom J. B. Kickham unsuccessfully wooed. The locket containing the interwoven hair of Charles Kickham and Katie Freney is in the possession of John Kickham, Ballydavid, Mullinahone. The lines were written to John Kickham's mother.
