    The grey linnet sings, and the green linnet is a handsome bird but has no song. Both build in bushes.
    Cnaiscín or Billy Blue builds in holes in wall - bird is small and handsome with yellow and green plumage - Lays about six eggs - warbles - is never caged.
    Tree-creeper is not much known.
    Magpie - Nest is made entirely of sticks (cipins) and lined with hair from horse, ass or cow - lays four eggs.
    Wood Quest (Wild pidgeon) - builds in fork of tree with cipins and grass - lays two eggs.
