- (continued from previous page)not hear anything about silver or valuable vessels been found in my district. Their is nothing said about the Danes or fairies in regard to the hidden treasure. It is supposed to have Black cat minding this hidden treasure. I did not hear of any light been seen there. Where the treasure is supposed to be hidden. I heard no other treasure stories.
- Treasures are supposed to be hidden in forths and in gardens. The people of long ago used to hide gold oraments in bogs and gardens The old people hid gold in a hole of water behind the castle of Cullohill. A few men came to dig it up one day. After a while they dug it up and they came to big flag. One of the men said we will go home to our dinner. The men went home to their dinner. After a half a hour the men came back and the was full of water. The men went home and no one ever came to dig it any more. Some of the gold ornaments and silver ornaments and stone hammers and stone knives it was stone before the Danes came to Ireland. When the Danes came to Ireland they bought iron ploughs and Harrows(continues on next page)
