  2. There was a man living in Derry, who employed men to work in his shop. He got a new assistant. One day he told the assistant that he was well satisfied with his work and was going to add five pounds to his wages. Then the boy said I will be twice as good for the future. Then the boss added on five more pounds. A little while afterwards the boy said "May I say I will be better than ever again?".
