    About seventy years ago there were rocks and flags of stone in the middle of a field in Casheleraw, near Carndonagh.

    dug it out and put one of the flags into the byre. The cows were able to stand on it and in the morning the two cows were dead. Then the man took the flag and put it in the same place again more carefully than he took it out. The next morning a wee fairy was seen sitting on the rocks dressed in red and the man never went near the place again.
