    There is a part of the road in Galbally...

    he was riding a horse and when he was passing by this part of the road a black man came out of the ditch and pinched him on the leg. He got home as quickly as he could and when he went in he fainted when he saw the light. The next morning when he got up he found that he had a black mark in his leg where the strange black man pinched him. When he put on his trousers he saw that there was a black hole burned in it. The next day that he was going out riding he found that there was a large hole burned in the saddle and he counted himself lucky that the leg wasn't taken off him.
