    When a hen lays a small egg like a marble taw, it is stuck n the thatch, this is counted very lucky altogether. Every small egg of that kind laid by a hen is placed in the thatch and never taken out. It is counted very unlucky to do so. In some houses rows of these eggs will be seen stuck in the thatch, and when the thatcher comes along, he is strongly
