    These are some proverbs. A stitch in time saves nine.
    Listen to the noise of the river and you will get trout
    There is no place like home; this means if a person went into another person's house he could not do as he wished there. Well begun is half done; this means if a person begins his work well he has it half done. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. The good that is, is worth two goods that were. You cannot put an old head on young shoulders. Praise the youth and it will come with you. Youth is the time to learn. Honesty is the best of policy. Live horse and you will get grass.
