  1. Wilson's Road branches off the Kildysart Road. It is said that the devil is seen in the shape of a dog at the top of Wilson's Road.
    The Bog Road gets its name from the bogs which are on either side of it.
    The Fort Road gets its name from the fort which is on the left hand side of the road. The fairies are supposed to be seen in this fort and there is also a house in the middle of it which is supposed to be haunted.

  2. In olden times the rivers used to be crossed by means of fords. I do not know any story about these fords. The people who would tell these stories are dead and buried.
    In days past there used to be dancing and card playing at the crossroads.
