  2. There are five graveyards in the parish, namely, Shanakyle, Briaffa, Kilcarroll, Scattery and the Protestant Churchyard. Shankyle graveyard is in the townland of Leadmore, Briaffa in Tullabrack, Kilcarroll in Kilcarroll and the Churchyard in Kilrush. They are all in use. The
