- St. Bridgets Well is situated in the extreme northern corner of the townsland of Bryanmore parish of Drumraney County of West Meath. It is about two hundred perches from the main road. It is not a very big neither is it very deep. Its debth is about four feet. There is a black thorn bush growing over it and a row of stones round the edge of the well. There is a narrow well kept road going up to the well. There was never any pattern day for attending this well but people go there and say prayers. There are no special prayers to be said. They take away water and moss. The water is supposed to cure sick stomachs if it is got before the sun rise in the morning. Other ailments are also cured. Sometimes when people go there they bring offering such as buttons, thimbles and half-pence which are dropped into the well. Other people bring strings and attach them to a tree which grows over the well. There is a track of a church near the well but no one can remember to see it in existance. About twenty perches from the well is a head stone with writing on it. It is on the side of a river which flows near the well.
