  2. One time there way a man cutting wood in a field. Every time he cut this lump of wood a voice was heard saying "don't touch that ". When twelve o'clock came the man went to his dinner and left the saw and the wood behind him.
    When he came back to the field the saw and the wood was away. Three days afterwards the man was going out to feed his horses and he got his saw and a small paper bag and it full of small broad-headed nails. The man took the saw and the nails into the house and showed them to his wife. The man put the tiny bag into the cupboard very careful. When the man went to the cupboard in a week after the tiny bag was there but the nails were gone. There as a bag of gold left in return. The man was very poor
