When he emptied the corn he kept the bag that he got the corn in and when he got his corn threshed again he filled the bag full and brought it back again. He left it where he got it and the fairy came out. He said "Is it the same corn?" He said "It is". The fairy said "it is not, for mine was ll the top pickles", and the fairy and the bag of corn disappeared. - About seventy years ago in this district people started to carry in corn to the barn. Every time they would shut the barn after them and when they would come back it would be open and the corn thrown out on the street. Every night the fairies would be dancing and singing in the barn.
