- Once there lived in Latnamard a very rich man when he was dying he buried it in Aughclay. It is said that it is still there.
(Told by my grand mother Mrs Ellis (76) Drumhilla) - One time there lived a highway man in Tullygillan Rocks. The place where he lived is still to be seen. It is a cave in rocks. This man used to go round robbing the people. One night he was shot. People say that there is still money in the cave.
