  2. There was once a man who lived in the townland of Liscomiskey by the name of Peter Caroll. He was the grandfather of Peter and Mick Carroll who are still living in Liscomiskey
    He dreamt one night of a crock of gold being hidden in a field of his own. He dug for two summers to find it and at the end of that time he came to a big stone. he couldn't move it no matter what he did or what help he got. The stone is still to be seen.
