    There was a cross put on the top of the cake to help it to bake well.
    The names of the vessels used for baking bread were the pan the griddle, the oven and the stander
    The vessel used for making the bread was called the locid.
    Suaidin and [crowde?] were made of oaten meal sugar and boiling water this was taking at supper.
