  1. Three meals a day that were eaten in olden times. They were eaten at nine o'clock the breakfast, the dinner at two and the supper at nine or ten. There was no lunch eaten at the time. The people used to work in the farms before eating in the mornings. There was stirabout(?) eaten at one meal and potatoes at the rest. Butter milk and new milk was drank. When the people were eating they used to sit on the floor and eat out of a skib. The table-place was near the wall. Some tables
