  1. There were three meals and a cart eaten in the day. These consisted of stirabout or potatoes for breakfast
    Potatoes, and porridge fish vegetables and some times American bacon for dinner
    The people used to work before breakfast for a couple of hours.
    Flomany oaten bread and boxty was taken for lunch
    A cast was take about two hours after lunch it consisted of a pot of potatoes herbs or blacklads. Milk was taken whoever wanted it.
    The table was placed by the window all the family sat around it when eating.
