  1. There is a ruined castle in Dunmacree Irishtown, Co. Mayo. It is about 749 years old.
    It is derelict about one hundred years. It was owning to the dissipation extravagance, and recklessness of the Blakes that their immense wealth was squandered in the early part of the last century so that the last of them had to seek shelter.
    I cannot say if it had a dungeon but it had a wall-press where a scelton was found some time after their deaths.
