  1. We have a nice churn at home. \it is three feet in height fourteen inches wide at the top and sixteen at the bottom.
    The sides are sloped. It is seven years old.
    The different parts are salted the caisín, the lid, the churn dash and the clapper. There is a mark on the side of the churn and another on the lid to show how to fit them together.
    Butter is made twice a week in summer the cows have a lot of milk on account of the heat. It is made once a week in winter the cows haven't as much milk on account of the cold.
    My mother does the churning. Strangers who come during churning help at the work for fear they would bring the butter.
