- The townsland in which I live in is called Knockbeha How it became to be called that name was because there used to be a wood growing on it wood on its hill. The chief was birch. The Parish is named Killanena. The barony is named Upper Tulla. There are fifteen families and about seventy four people in Knockbeha. The most common names are Collins and Mc Arthur. There is only one old house in this townsland by the of Noonan's house because they used to live in it one time. There are four old people over seventy living in my Home District. There names are, Michael Collins, Mrs Sammon, Mrs (M) Lillis and Mrs Collins. These people tell stories English but not in Irish.
