John O'Mara's hay shed was burned accidentally in 1935.Frank O'Mara's turf was also burned in 1936.
- There are a great many tales told about happening of life which occured long ago in this vicinity.there was a great misfortune in this vicinity long ago when the tans came ,they plundered the shops and cities(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
