    Last Summer next Winter the year before last / A man with a hammer stood breaking his fast.

    Last Summer next Winter the year before last
    A man with a hammer stood breaking his fast
    Some cast iron cheese cakes he tried hard to eat
    But those cakes they fell down and
    broke the corns in his feet.

    He went to the doctor and stated
    his case
    The hot tears from his eyes burned
    holes in his face
    The doctor filled those holes up with
    sawdust and tar
    And it was with a football match
    he lit his cigar
    He washed his feet with some "russian
    salac"
    Which made the hair grow down on
    the neck of his back

    This man had a father so some
