Once upon a time a farmer and his son were taking away a moat which was in their land.

Once upon a time a farmer and his son were taking away a moat which was in their land. They were not long at work when a red-haired woman appeared and told them to stop. The farmer told his son not to take any heed of her but to get on with the work. At last the horse and box in which they were taking the moat was tumbled "head over heels". The men were greatly frightened and promised never to touch the moat again.
