    Once upon a time a small man lived in a certain village and every night he used to go to a neighbour's house where only one man lived and who used to keep one cow.

    Once upon a time a small man lived in a certain village and every night he used to go to a neighbour's house where only one man lived and who used to keep one cow. Every one who knew this little man believed that he was "going with the fairies.
    Well, this day the cow happened to fall into a quarry and get killed and the man was very sorry after her. That night the little man came to the house as usual and the owner of the cow told him about all that had happened. "Oh" says the little man. "Your cow is not dead and I'll prove it to you now". At that he went out and pulled a blade of grass. He brought it in and told the owner of the cow to look through it. He did so and to his
