In a road between Emly and Sattin there once stood an old Church which was believed to be haunted.

In a road between Emly and Sattin there once stood an old Church which was believed to be haunted. When the Patrick Priest died the people of that district went every evening to Mass which was offered for his soul. One night the Ghost of a priest came to the altar and he asked the people which one of them would answer the Mass. He said that he neglected saying one Mass during life and he had to come back to say it but none of the people were brave enough to answer it. The same thing happened for three night but on the fourth night a youth of about sixteen years answered the Mass. Then the priest raised his hand and said "I can now go straight to heaven."
