    I heard a very interesting story from a man in the neighbourhood concerning an ancient disused churchyard in Kilcornan.

    I heard a very interesting story from a man in the neighbourhood concerning an ancient disused churchyard in Kilcornan. In former times a road led to it but it is long since closed up and a trace of it scarcely remains.
    In it was buried Morragh a wizard who performed wonderful feats in his day. On one occasion he had a fight with another man who pulled off one of his arms and he joined it to himself again. About eighty years ago the church yard fell into disuse and a neighbouring farmer levelled off the graves and took away the tomb stones, some of the latter may still be seen as lintels over door-ways. The surface of the field is still quiet black. The first year it was a garden and they dug one big potatoe closely resembling a human
