    A long time ago people used take their oats to Limerick. Some of them used to lodge in Boher and continue their journey the following morning.

    A long time ago people used take their oats to Limerick. Some of them used to lodge in Boher and continue their journey the following morning. There was at this time a rich gentleman living in Boher. He owned a lot of racehorses and it was his custom each night before he went to bed to see that they were safe.One night as he was looking at them he saw two women in a stable. He told them to go away but they dis not move. At last he got a whip but when he hit them he found no substance under it. Then he got frightened and went to bed. He was not long there when the two women came in and began pulling him out of the bed. He called the people of the house and they came to his assistance. At last the two woman went away
