  1. Christmas.
    On Christmas Eve night the youngest child that is living in the house lights a Christmas candle and puts it in the kitchen window. They light the candle at twelve o' clock on Christmas Eve night and quench it at twelve o' clock on Christmas night.
    St Patrick's Day.
    St Patrick's Day is the National feast in Ireland. Shamrock is worn in this district and rosettes made out of green ribbon.
    St Bridgid's Day.
    On St Brigid's Night the young men go around to the houses as "Brídeógs". They dress up in girl's clothes and they wear masks.
