    The stream field is so called because there is a stream flowing through it.
    Heather hill.
    Heather Hill is so called because there is heather growing there.
    The football field.
    The football field is so called because boys used always play football there long ago.
    Mágh na Muc.
    This is the name of a field and it is so called because it is a level field and pigs used graze there long ago.
