    When I am going to bed I say this prayer. My father taught it to me.
    I
    As I am lying down to sleep,
    To God I give my soul to keep,
    And if I die before I wake,
    I pray to God my soul to take.
    II
    There are four corners on my bed,
    There are four angels at my head,
    Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
    God bless the bed that I lay on.
