    There were heaps of furze and hay burned in it long ago.
    Peg's field
    A woman by the name of Peg Smith was the owner of it. When she saw any one going into the field she would say "don't go into Peg's field." She died about thirty years ago.
    Donnelly's corner.
    So called because people by the name of Donnelly lived in it.
