very good but most of the fields are tilled. There is a river running by my house. It is called Kilfeacle river. There is a field in our farm and we call it Park na Vallish. The old people say that the Fenians fought on it. There are not many ruins of old houses in my district. There is an old woman living near my house. She tells stories in English and her name is Mrs Green. She is about eighty years old. The houses in my district are nearly all slated. There are the ruins of an old house near our valley. My grandmother told me that an old man lived in it about fifty years ago.
