How to Make Daisy Chains.
In Summer when girls have no other way to occupy their leisure hours they make daisy chains.
This is a very simple past time and it is made as follows:-
First of all the daisies are picked.
These daisies must have long and strong stems so that another stem will go through them. There is a hole made at the end of the stem with a needle .
Then the stem of another daisy is put through it
This is continued on until the daisy chain is long enough to go round the persons neck.
At the end of the chain the stem of the last daisy is fastened to the head of the first daisy.- Bailitheoir
