   There is a fort in the townsland of Ballcloughduff and parish of Drumraney called the "Ratheen" situated in a field called the "Bushy field." This fort is on a high hill with a ring all round it and bushes growing up the sides of it. There is supposed to be an iron door going down under this fort and it is said that if you let in a black cat before you then you could go in. But if you did not do this you could not go in. If you would go in, the fairies would keep you under the ground with them. There is a light seen in this fort every night. There is a ring round this fort and there are tracks of horses seen there. It is said that if anyone cut one of these bushes that are in this field, he could not put any animal into this field or he would die. A man named James O'Harrow had cattle on this land. One day he cut one of these bushes to fence, after a few days one of the cattle fell into a drain and was drowned. Then he left the rest of his cattle there for another week and
