- A local ParsonAt one time a Parson named Hussey lived in Rathmore. He was a burly bigheaded man, and he always made little of Catholics. He had a fine house, and he decorated it beautifully. He had a cocked nose. One day he thought of a plan to make little of the Catholics. So he put posters upon his entrance gates saying.
"See what men and money can do." After a while a Catholic came along, and he wrote this verse under it.
"All the men and money
Since Adam's race,
Could not straighten the nose
