    harm was ever done to anybody. It appears that this man was killed on a very stormy night, and so he used to appear on every stormy night. I myself was passing that place one night and there was an awful wind blowing and it was very dark, and just as I was passing by this particular place the bell fell off the bicycle, this is the part of the bell that screws on. I was a long time looking for it before I got it even with the aid of the lamp. Not long after that I was passing by the same place and it was a very stormy night and it was awful dark. This time the bottom of my carbide lamp fell off the bicycle and I was a lot worse than I was the first night for this time I had no light
