Long ago when St Martin's Day would come the people would kill something

Long ago when St Martin's Day would come the people would kill something. Whatever they would kill they would boil the blood of it. When they would have the blood boiled they would make a ball of it and hang it from the rafters. When anyone of that house would get a wound the people of that house would rub the ball of blood to the wound and it would be cured.
