Tom Crowe was in his cuaird in Rylane one night

    297
Tom Crowe was in his cuaird in Rylane one night .he remained late in the cuairdaidhe house, and when he was coming home he heard the sounds of fast steps behind him.The sound of the footsteps continued until he reached Shraheen. Then the sound disappeared up a bye road.Tom Crowe could see no person and he walked along until he reached Norrry Hencheys public house. He rested on the bridge until the lark sang at four o'clock in the morning .He was afraid to pass Clooney Churchyard unless he got a drink at Norry's.
