At the turf stack - Eddie McKenna who lived in Latully about sixty years ago wrote a poem about the green walk in Cootehill. John Fitzpatrick was his nearest neighbour. McKenna had a field of corn beside Fitzpatrick's house. His hens would be in McKenna's corn and none of them would ditch them out. McKennas the poer made a song about Fitzpatrick's hens and farm so that he might ditch them out.
He also made a song about Poulthy
